Prior to, Ms. Knefelkamp worked as Manager of the Indiana State Office of Rural Health (SORH). In this position, Ms. Knefelkamp provided statewide leadership and technical assistance to rural health partners and the public on the health care delivery system and other health issues that are particularly challenging in rural areas of Indiana. As the SORH Coordinator, Ms. Knefelkamp managed and coordinated two Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant programs.
Ms. Knefelkamp received her Master in Business Administration with specialization in Healthcare Management degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2013, and her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Southern Indiana in 2005.
Dr. Eric Yazel graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Biology, followed by a M.A. in Clinical Physiology from Ball State University. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Louisville and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine there as well, serving as Chief Resident. He serves as an Assistant Professor

He serves as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Louisville as well as an Attending Physician at Clark Memorial Emergency Department. He also serves at the Clark County Health Officer, Chief Medical Officer for LifeSpring Health Systems, Chief Medical Officer for BluMine Health, Chief Tactical Physician for the Jeffersonville Police Department, and Medical Director of Meade County EMS.
As a pediatric critical care and emergency nurse, and advanced practice Clinical Nurse Specialist, I have the honor of improving pediatric health through patient care, nursing practice, and influence on systems. I employ systems thinking to overcome barriers to care delivery, and foster inter-disciplinary collaboration across the continuum of care.

Greg is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics. He works in the Riley Emergency Department as well as the IU North Pediatric Emergency Department. He currently is the Medical Director for the Indianapolis Fire Department and 4 fire departments affiliated with Riverview Hospital. He is passionate about educating all learners about pediatric emergency care.
Elizabeth is the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. A native of New England, Elizabeth graduated from Bowdoin College in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in History. After completing her medical education at the University of Massachusetts, Elizabeth moved to Indianapolis for her residency training in Emergency Medic
Elizabeth is the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. A native of New England, Elizabeth graduated from Bowdoin College in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in History. After completing her medical education at the University of Massachusetts, Elizabeth moved to Indianapolis for her residency training in Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics. Dual board certified in Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine, she splits her clinical and teaching duties between the Eskenazi Emergency Department and the Emergency Medicine and Trauma Center at Riley Hospital for Children. Additionally, she serves as Deputy Medical Director for Pediatrics for Indianapolis EMS. In 2009, she was awarded the federally funded Emergency Medical Services for Children State Partnership Grant and she continues to oversee this project. Her scholarship and academic interests are primarily focused on pediatric emergency care, infrastructure and systems including community paramedicine. While she is still a loyal Boston sports Fan, and lover of all things New England, she has now lived in Indy long enough to be able to field (and sometimes successfully answer) questions about the Indy 500. When not working she is an avid alpine skier and winter outdoor enthusiast. .
Tom Arkins has been in public safety since 1986 starting his career with White River Fire Department. He has been with Wishard/Indianapolis EMS since 1994 serving as an EMT, Paramedic, EMS Supervisor, and Tactical Paramedic. Currently he serves as the Section Chief of IT and Informatics for Indianapolis EMS.
