Treat the Streets - Prehospital Pediatric Asthma Intervention to Improve Health Outcomes

Indianapolis EMS (IEMS) is the largest 911 ambulance service in Indiana. IEMS responds to approximately 100,000 calls per year. The service provides a basis of operations for the Treat the Streets program, as well as resources and support from the fleet service, training and education divisions, and administration.

Riley Hospital for Children provides invaluable training opportunities for our Community Paramedics and refers patients to the Treat the Streets Program.

Marion County Public Health Department provides training for the Community Paramedics and is a vital resource for our patients and families.

Indiana University Health physicians provide clinical instruction to community paramedics.

Regenstrief Institute is an informatics and health care research organization. Regenstrief informatisists provide custom electronic health record modifications for the Treat the Streets Program.

Indiana Health Information Exchange is a statewide clinical informatics network that enables all partners to view and share electronic health records.

CHIRP - Children and Hoosiers Immunization Program is an online adult and pediatric immunization registry. Their infrastructure is critical to the Program's ability to ensure influenza vaccination.
